To Learn more about our TGS Shocks Competition Teams, please call the studio or email us. We start filling teams in April and continue to build teams throughout the Summer months! After these months, the best way to get ready to join a team is to start into our awesome non-competition classes offered throughout the week. If you would like to come and see us in action, let us know and we can get you the specific performance times on the above competitions.

Remember: Our Shocks program doesn't end with just competition teams, regular non-competition classes are available and are treated just as special as all competition classes. We love to compete, but if competition is not for you, no pressure. Take a dance class just for fun or for the educational experience. All students are part of the family!!!

About this team: Our Senior Shocks are a competitive hip-hop dance team with the competition experience needed to excel at competitiions. Most team members have been competing for the Shocks program for 4-6 years and these girls really know how to dance!!!! They are fun to watch and are dedicated to their team! These girls work hard to tackle tricky dance choreography and tricks that make their 2:30 routine unforgettable. If you love watching the"So You Think You Can Dance" TV Show on Fox or "America's Best Dance Crews" on MTV, then this team would definitely peak your interest!! We are fun, fresh, and know how to keep it age appropriate !!

About this team: Our Youth. Hip-Hop team is consists of students aged 8- 12 years old. These students strive to learn new breakdance tricks and hot choreography in order to one day make their way onto the senior shocks team. These students know how to balance fun and hardwork. And can deliver one jaw dropping routine!

About this Team: The team consists of 6-9 year olds who really love to dance. This is a low-stress competition team that learns not only the fundamentals of hip-hop but also the basic fundamentals of dance!

ABOUT THIS TEAM: This teams consists of students aged 9-15 yrs old with skill sets ranging from intermediate to semi- advanced. This group meets 3 hours a week to train a 2:30 minute comp routine consisting of cheer jumps/tumble, dance, and stunt work such as basket tosses, pyramids and partner stunts. If your child loves to cheer and possibly considering college cheer in the future, then this team is for you. And at TGS, you can be sure safety is a priority!!

About this team: This team consists of students aged 5-11 yrs olds. These students are beginner cheerleaders who are quickly progressing their skill set in dance, tumble, jumps, and stunting. A perfect squad for those out their who love cheer and dance and want to perform like a star

TGS Shocks Coach/Dancers danced with Kevin & Phi from the JabbaWockeez, the world-renowned Popin' Pete, and the talented Kevin Maher at the Monsters of Hip Hop Dance Convention in Chicago!! Then it was off to the Shock Dance Intensive in Columbus! We are proud to continue to be a leader of Hip Hop Dance in NE Ohio!

Congratulations to our Oct. Cheer Student of the Month: Amanda M from our Senior Coed Cheer Team and our Oct. Dance Student of the Month: Addyson C. from our Mini Hip Hop team! Both girls demonstrate true team spirit and focus. Keep it up!!

TGS Welcomes New Team Members:

If your child is looking for a new all-star family and has previous experience in hip hop or cheerleading, we are currently welcoming you to our TGS Shocks program. TGS welcomes all students onto their teams, yet at this time of the year, only students with prior experience will be allowed to practice/join with our competition teams for the 2011-2012 season. Those without experience are welcome and encouraged to gain experience in our many non-competition classes. New placements for the 2012-2013 season will occur in April.
